With so many meetings, events, exhibits, performances, and games each day, it might seem difficult to set aside time to learn about your Duke student organization\u2019s history. The University Archives<\/a>, which collects student organization materials, knows how busy you are and we want to help!<\/p>\n

Starting on October 20th, we\u2019ll be holding a series of pop-up displays on student organization history, featuring historical materials from our collections. We\u2019re calling this YOLO@UA<\/strong>: Your Organizations Live on @ the University Archives.<\/p>\n

Each Tuesday, you\u2019ll find us at a table just outside the Von der Heyden Pavilion from 2-3 PM, ready to show some cool stuff and answer your questions about student organization history.<\/p>\n

We\u2019ll be changing the display focus each time, so here\u2019s the schedule:<\/p>\n

October 20:<\/strong> Cultural Groups<\/p>\n

October 27:<\/strong> Arts Groups<\/p>\n

November 3:<\/strong> Student Government & Political Groups (Happy Election Day!)<\/p>\n

November 10:<\/strong> Sororities, Fraternities, & Living Groups<\/p>\n

November 17:<\/strong> Student Publications<\/p>\n

Don\u2019t worry if your organization isn\u2019t covered with this schedule. We\u2019ll plan more pop-up displays with different focuses during the spring semester. And you\u2019re always welcome to get in touch with us<\/a> to discuss how you can research your organization\u2019s history at the University Archives!<\/p>\n
