This year, Duke University Press is celebrating its centennial, marking one hundred years of interdisciplinary scholarship. Founded in 1926, the press has grown alongside the university into one of the ten largest and most influential university presses in the world. To mark the occasion, the Press is inviting readers, scholars, and the public to engage with this legacy and look ahead to its next hundred years through a series of events and programs throughout the year—including a special library exhibit opening August 19, 2026, in the Rubenstein Library’s Mary Duke Biddle Room.
