Day 1, DC3

The DC3 is winding down its first day on the job and in its new space. This exciting experiment is novel in a host of ways. We are a new unit with a new mission in a new home. And yet somehow it all feels quite familiar.

Our space does not yet have desks; so, here we are, all seated around our seminar table in the middle of the room, surrounded by whiteboards, eating, talking, writing, looking over each other’s shoulders, working together. Our colleague James Cowey has even flown in from Heidelberg to help inaugurate the venture (read: massively expand our TO-DO list). This is how we built papyri.info, how we’ll build on top of it.
