Citing you in a bibliography

AP, how do I cite you in a research paper? I asked you a question earlier and the answer proved very useful, I appreciate all your help!

ANSWER PERSON RESPONDS: I guess you could consider it to be like an electronic bulletin board:

or an email message:

Anyway, poke around at the library’s web guide to citation:

  1. How do you cite a person? I am writing a paper on India culture and one of my classmates is from India and I want to use his answers in my paper. “How do I list him?” Him and I just talked face to face.
    Thank you,Todd

  2. You need to consult the style guide that your instructor has asked you to use (MLA, Turabian, etc.). We have a few examples online and it looks like “interview” or “email message” might get you close. The full books will have more information. You can also Google words like “citing personal conversation” and get online examples like this at Yale.
